The drawbacks of partial kitchen renovations

Here at JW McDonald Kitchens & Bathrooms we always want to be seen moving with the economy when it comes to kitchen installation and kitchen fitting.

We now see a more cost adverse economy and our clients properties are still in need of a kitchen renovation. We are finding that a lot of our client want save money by only changing the kitchen worktops, doors, handles and taps. Whilst this sounds a good idea in theory,  in reality you are really devaluing the property as more properties come on the housing market people want better value for there money.

This means people who are looking to buy or invest in a property will be looking for good kitchen installation with good quality kitchen units, that are consistent and adds value the property price. Having old base and wall units with new doors, handles, worktops and tap(s) will scream that the kitchen will need to be replaced and now the kitchen is devaluing the property in our opinion.

Please remember that a good kitchen renovation or kitchen fitting service will add value and make your property stand out in a crowded housing market.
